– Tom Lewis took home a brand new 2015 Cadillac Escalade after scoring remarkable hole-in-one shot
ABU DHABI, U.A.E. —— Gary Stal was crowned the winner of the tenth annual Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, held from 15-18 January at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club. This year, for the fifth time running, Cadillac served as the coveted event’s official automobile sponsor. The competition saw participation by a number of golf luminaries. In fact, world-renowned players Rory McIlroy and Martin Kaymer finished in second and third place, respectively.
On 15 January, Tom Lewis scored a hole-in-one on the 7th hole – a rather impressive feat that earned him an all-new 2015 Cadillac Escalade. The pioneering vehicle, which boasts a precisely-crafted interior, a groundbreaking design and sophisticated new technologies, promises a truly enhanced driving experience.
The championship’s coveted Pro-Am tournament took place on 14 January and saw participation by Cadillac Golf Cup League (CGCL) winner James Kachel. He secured the CGCL title back in December 2014 after going head-to-head with the league’s top 40 players at the Emirates Golf Club’s Faldo course.
Throughout the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, special guests and VIPs enjoyed special access to Cadillac’s Chalet – a luxurious and exclusive lounge located in the Championship Pavilion. Moreover, visitors could indulge in a wide range of fun-filled activities thanks to a dedicated Cadillac area in the Spectator Village.
To the delight of car enthusiasts, the entire 2015 Cadillac product line-up – comprising the 2015 Escalade, 2015 SRX, 2015 XTS, 2015 CTS, 2015 ATS and 2015 ATS Coupe – was also on display at the event’s practice range.
