It is accompanied by two special variants: Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport that appeals to riders who love sporty design and Vespa GTS 300 Touring that is especially styled for those who enjoy traveling for pleasure. We believe that all the three new models will win high favour from customers due to their distinctive styles and advanced technologies for top-class safety, riding comfort and powerful performance.”
GTS 300 Super
The Vespa GTS 300 series made its debut in 2005, boasting a powerful 300cc engine. Most recently, Vaspario Thailand has introduced three new scooters from this series to truly address all preferences of Vespa fans. Vespa GTS 300 Super sets itself apart with sheet metal body and sporty contour of the large, ergonomically designed seat that also offers great durability. Other design finesse includes functionality of storage compartments and bag hangers at the front leg shield.
Despite 68 years of heritage, Vespa has never stopped its technological development and innovation to meet the lifestyles of modern riders. The GTS 300 Super features a parking reminder system that connects to the owner’s smartphone to show the parking location if forgotten, using Vespa Multimedia Platform (V MP) that can also provide information relevant to the vehicle as well as routes and traffic information. The scooter has a USB port at the front leg shield for convenient charging of electronic devices. With LED headlamp, the scooter is clearly seen by other motorists in daytime traffic.
Smooth and safe ride is also assured by the ESS (Enhanced Sliding Suspension) front suspension system that integrates the classic single link arm with coil spring and the traditional dual-action hydraulic shock absorber for better shock distribution and absorption against road imperfections.
Vespa GTS 300 Super is powered by a 300cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine with electronic injection. With max output of 22hp at 7,500 rpm and max torque of 22.3 Nm at 5,000 rpm, this engine ensures great responsiveness and unmatched performance. The GTS 300 Super is ideal both for urban and long-distance rides, thanks to a large body that provides great rider and pillion comfort. It comes available in three colour choices: white, black and red.
GTS 300 Super Sport
For Vespa fans with sporting spirit, the GTS 300 Super Sport is the boldest Vespa yet. Its unique styling is a clear statement of sportiness: matte black body colour, black seat with striking orange seamline, and side graphics in matching colour. A metal “S” logo at the front section enhances its unmistakable “Super Sport” character while the front leg shield carries a modern necktie-shape design element and insets of front LED turn signal. Like GTS 300 Super, the GTS 300 Super Sport has a USB port hidden in a front storage compartment and offers a new, more spacious underseat storage. At the rear section, an aesthetically designed cluster of tail lights houses the braking light and turn signal lights within a transparent cover and chrome surround.
Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport takes safety standards a step further with advanced technologies of Piaggio Group, the first to introduce traction control to scooters. As standard equipment in the GTS 300 Super Sport, this electronic control system works in conjunction with ABS, which is used at both wheels for the first time. The GTS 300 Super Sport is also equipped with the same new front suspension system and the same powerful engine as in the GTS 300 Super that boasts high performance and world-class standard of safety.
GTS 300 Touring
As another special version, this scooter addresses the lifestyle of riders who love to travel for pleasure while staying true to the distinctive style and uncompromising safety standards of the Vespa brand. Its seat is especially designed for superior comfort both on short and long-distance rides. Just like the GTS 300 Super Sport, attention to detail is given to all functionalities, including the more spacious underseat storage, inclusion of a USB port that allows charging of electronic devices, the necktie-shape design on the front leg shield, a taillight cluster with chrome surround, and the LED turn signal. The GTS 300 Touring is differentiated by its blue taillight. It sports the same engine used in the GTS 300 Super Sport. For riding safety, the GTS 300 Touring comes with ABS technology on both wheels for the first time and is also equipped with the ESS front suspension for smoother shock absorption and greater riding comfort.
