Titan-VNS appoints new Kaizen Manager

BANGKOK, 21 October 2014 —— Titan VNS Auto Logistics Co. Ltd. (“Titan-VNS”) recently announced another key management recruitment with the appointment of Boonjan Sitatsa to the position of Kaizen Manager.

This is the latest in a series of key strategic appointments being made by Titan-VNS as part of their on going programme to optimise the internationalisation of the Company, building on their position as the fastest growing logistics management services provider in the Thai automotive sector.

‘Kaizen’ is a methodology focused around making continuous improvements to workplace productivity that involves all levels of management and frontline staff and is widely credited with driving Japan’s competitive success story. Under Kaizen smaller multiple improvements are made, analysed, evaluated, adjusted, innovated and standardised.

Titan-VNS has multiple Japanese OEM clients and implementing Kaizen methodologies will also allow them to further improve their cultural integration.

Sitatsa is a perfect choice for the position as he has almost 20 years of experience working in Japan. His primary task will be to drive their operations to reach the maximum efficiency in order to maintain their leading competitive position in the Thai logistics sector.

Moreover, he will be required to transfer valuable Japanese working culture practices across their staffing structure. His first task will be to travel to all of their sites to observe current operational processes.

Sitatsa takes up his position with Titan-VNS with immediate effect and will report directly to Managing Director Peera Thaweechart.

Bordin Tanthaphaiboon (President, Titan VNS Auto Logistics Co. Ltd.) said: “We’re delighted that Sitatsa is joining our team. After the rapid growth of the Company over the last couple of years since our foundation it is very important to keep further improving our efficiencies for the benefit of our clients, this has really been the cornerstone of our success. This year we have put a new strategy for internationalisation at the core of operational improvements and appointing Sitatsa as Kaizen Manager we believe will add value to that drive. We now look forward to the new efficiencies he can extract, develop and implement into our business model.”

Boonjan Sitatsa (Kaizen Manager, Titan VNS Auto Logistics Co. Ltd.) said: “I’m very pleased with this opportunity, Titan-VNS has come a long way in a very short time and is a company that is ambitious and has unique proprietary operational procedures so it’s exciting to become involved in that growth story. The management has a lot of experience of the logistics sector and a clear international outlook so I hope to be able to contribute my experience to delivering the most efficient practices.”
