Jaguar to take over iconic London locations with special live performance and exhilarating stunts to launch the new Jaguar XE – #FEELXE

SOLIHULL, 1 September 2014 —— On the evening of the 8 September, Jaguar will hold two special events in London to mark the unveiling of the new Jaguar XE, a true driver’s car; one that redefines the concept of the mid-size sports saloon. 

Jaguar will bring levels of innovation never seen before in this segment – with its lightweight construction expertise and sophisticated chassis technology in addition to the new family of Ingenium engines – all designed, engineered and manufactured in the UK.  

Built around an all-new, aluminium-intensive architecture, the XE combines thrilling performance, agile handling and precise, responsive steering, with outstanding levels of refinement and fuel efficiency.  

EVENT 1 – EARLS COURT – World Premiere of the Jaguar XE

Jaguar will reveal the XE S Derivative only. The full XE range will be revealed at Paris Motor Show press conference on 2 October at 14:45/15:00 CEST. 

The Earls Court show will be narrated by actor John Hannah and feature special performances from artists including Emeli Sandé, The Kaiser Chiefs and Eliza Doolittle. 

This event will be streamed live on www.jaguar.com from 19:15 – 20:45 BST (UK time).

EVENT 2 – EMELI SANDÉ Live Performance – 21:30 – 22:15

The second event is a live 45 minute performance by Emeli Sandé at a secret location for 200 VIP guests. Emeli will debut her Jaguar FEEL XE song – a newly written track inspired by the public via social media. The new Jaguar XE will be revealed as part of the event and onlookers will be treated to an audio-visual spectacle during the FEEL XE track performance. 

This event will be streamed live on http://www.jaguar.com from 21:30 – 22:15 BST (UK time).

The new Jaguar XE has started its journey to London from Jaguar Land Rover’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Solihull – supported by the legendary best of British Royal Air Force Red Arrows Acrobatic Team.
