– 100% of proceeds support excellent work by Camillian Home to benefit children with disabilities
BANGKOK, 28 July 2014 –— Jaguar Land Rover helped to support “Raising Hope,” a charity gala dinner event organised by Camillian Home, a registered non-profit children’s charity providing care and treatment for Thai children living with disabilities and serious illness. Raising Hope was hosted at Dusit Thani Hotel’s Napalai Ballroom recently.
Richard Haigh, General Manager of Jaguar Land Rover said, “Jaguar Land Rover is very pleased to support such a great charity and will continue to support Camillian Home if the occasion arises. We are proud to be a part of this effort to better children’s lives as supporting our community is one of our main objectives.”
The “Raising Hope” gala dinner was a black tie event consisting of an elegantly prepared four-course dinner, lively and varied musical entertainment, a selection of superb quality wines and high value auction prizes provided by host sponsors. The evening’s programme was hosted by celebrity actress, supermodel and TV host Cindy Sirinya Bishop, and included a silent auction hosted by Mark Thomson, Director of Public Relations and Communications at Anantara Hotels Resorts & Spa. Scintillating entertainment included a performance by Thailand’s outrageous Drag Queen Miss Pangina Heals, music by DJ Seaman DC, live music by Attack Aardvark Band, and the highlight of the evening, a performance by Camillian Home children themselves.
Jaguar Land Rover invited guests to enjoy this event by exhibiting Jaguar F-TYPE and Range Rover Sport and plans to contribute to the essential work of Camillian Home as part of Jaguar Land Rovers’ on-going CSR activities.
