Honda presents ‘Drive to the Next Enjoyment’ concept and showcases 13 models of automobiles at The 35th Bangkok International Motor Show 2014

BANGKOK, 25 March 2014 —-Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd., introduces the Honda Pavilion under the concept of “Drive to the Next Enjoyment” that reflects the innovative and ultimate joy of driving with a range of 13 automobile models at The 35th Bangkok International Motor Show 2014.

Visitors can enjoy a wide selection of special promotional offerings and many more great activities at the Honda Pavilion from 26 March  to 6 April 2014, as part of The Bangkok International Motor Show 2014 that will be held at Challenger Halls 1-3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.

According to the executive vice-president of Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Pitak Pruittisarikorn, “This year is the 50th anniversary of the Group of Honda Companies’ operations in Thailand. It’s Honda’s mission to introduce breakthrough innovations and technologies in three product categories, which are Honda automobiles, Honda motorcycles and Honda power products, to meet all levels of customer requirements and deliver them joy. This mission is reflected in the Honda Pavilion, which was created under the design theme of ‘Drive to the Next Enjoyment’, delivering the ultimate joy of driving with a wide range of Honda automobiles.”

Among the highlights of the Honda Pavilion is the all-new Honda City, which reflects the concept of ideally to “Be Your B-E-S-T”. As an exceptional vehicle that exceeds customer expectations, the new Honda City has a stunning design of the entire car with a spacious cabin, enhanced by smart technology and superior safety features. It is powered by the 1.5L i-VTEC engine that works with a new continuously variable transmission (CVT) developed under Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology that provides instant response, offers the best fuel efficiency, and is compatible with E85 fuel.

The new Honda City is available in six variants including the S MT, priced at THBaht 550,000,-; the S AT, priced at THBaht 589,000,-; the V, priced at THBaht 649,000,-; the V+, priced at THBaht 689,000,-; the SV, priced at THBaht 734,000,-; and the SV+ (which includes premium safety solutions such as i-Side Airbags and Side Curtain Airbags), priced at THBaht 749,000,-.

All variants come in seven colours including Modern Steel Grey (Metallic), Carnelian Red (Pearl), Crystal Black (Pearl), Alabaster Silver (Metallic), Taffeta White and two new colours, which are Brilliant Sporty Blue (Metallic) and Golden Brown (Metallic).  Metallic colours cost an additional THBaht 2,000,- and Pearl colours cost an additional THBaht 8,000,-.  The interior comes in two colours – beige for the S, V and V+ variants and black for the SV and SV+ variants.

Another outstanding model being showcased at the Honda Pavilion is the new Honda Civic, with a more stylish and sporty sense from the front, side, and rear under spoilers, a wing-type trunk spoiler, and an exhaust pipe finisher with an exclusive sport emblem. The sporty features are available on two new variants, the 2.0 ES AT NAVI and the 1.8 ES AT, providing sporty perfection.  The interiors of the two new variantswill let users experience luxury and comfort with advanced equipment including 7-inch Advanced Touch Display Audio with a Smartphone Connectivity function, HDMI port, and Multi-angle Rear View Camera. The new Honda Civic comes with two engine variants including a 2.0-litre i-VTEC and a 1.8-litre i-VTEC. Both engines are refined to enhance driving performance and offer excellent fuel economy and are E85 compatible.The new Honda Civic is available in six variants: the 2.0 ES AT NAVI at THBaht 1,145,000,-; 1.8 E AT NAVIat THBaht 990,000,-; 1.8 ES AT at THBaht 950,000,-;1.8 E ATat THBaht 895,000,-;1.8 S AT atTHBaht 835,000,-; and 1.8 S MTat THBaht 780,000,-.

All variants are available in four colours – Taffeta White, Alabaster Silver (Metallic), Crystal Black (Pearl) and Modern Steel Grey (Metallic). Metallic colours cost an additional THBaht 2,000,- and Pearl colour cost an additional THBaht 8,000,-.

At the Honda Pavilion, the company is showing a range of 13 models for customers to explore and choose the one that best matches their needs and lifestyles. To make it easier and more convenient to own a Honda automobile, the company is offering a wide range of exclusive promotional privileges for all Honda models that are booked before 6 April and cars will be delivered before 30 April 2014.

These privileges vary by each model and are:

– The Brio offered with either a low down payment of THBaht 29,999,-; or 0% interest plus free car insurance;

– For the Brio Amaze, customers can choose one of three offerings, which are a low down payment of THBaht 29,999,-; 0% interest plus free car insurance; or an attractively low monthly payment of THBaht 2,333,-.

– The Jazz comes with a choice of one of three privileges: a low down payment of THBaht 59,999,-; 0% interest plus free car insurance; or an attractively low monthly payment of THBaht 3,999,-.

– The Jazz Hybrid is offered with either a down payment starting from 19% with 60-month 0% interest; or an attractive monthly payment of THBaht 4,599,- plus free insurance.

– The Civic provides three choices of privileges for customers; a starting down payment of THBaht 99,000,-; 60-month 0% interest; or a stunning monthly payment of THBaht 4,999,- plus free insurance.

– The Civic Hybrid offers customers either a down payment starting from 19% with 60-month 0% interest; or a monthly payment of THBaht 5,999,- plus free insurance.

– The Freed comes with a choice of a down payment starting from 15%; 1.99% interest; or a monthly payment of THBaht 5,997,- plus free insurance.

– The Accord is offered with a starting down payment of THBaht 199,000,-; or 1.89% interest.

– The CR-V is more affordable to customers with a starting down payment of THBaht 199,000,-; or 1.59% interest plus free insurance.

There is also a special offer of a 0% down payment plus free insurance for government officers, state enterprise employees and special occupational groups.  In  addition, for customers who book a Honda automobile (except the all-new City and new Civic), Honda offers the Honda Ultimate Care programme, which provides a 5-year quality guarantee to ensure peace of mind for customers.
