BANGKOK, 6 March 2014 —-– The “NITTO 3K ISUZU ONE MAKE RACE 2014” was flagged off by Hiroshi Nakagawa, president of Tri Petch Isuzu Co., Ltd., in the presence of other senior officials and sponsors of the event.
The success of “NITTO 3K ISUZU ONE MAKE RACE” during the past 4 years has drawn attention from Thai racers, which resulted in 35 units of the “Isuzu D-Max” joining this year’s race — the highest number ever for the “one-make-race”.
That is why the “Full Race” category has been added this year. The ultimate performances of the “Isuzu D-Max” in terms of fuel efficiency, road holding ability and maneuverability have widely been accepted by both the racers and all parties concerned. So much so that Isuzu has given their full support this successful race again for the fifth year in a row.
Taom Nirut, a well-known actor, takes part in this race for the first time. He will compete with other racers for the Royal Trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali at the “Bira” International Circuit in Pattaya, the “Kaeng Krajarn” course in Petchburi and the “Bonanza” course in Korat.
“I wish the organising team of “NITTO 3K ISUZU ONE MAKE RACE” a great success in making this race continue growing further to be one of Thailand’s major motorsport events in the days to come,” said Hiroshi Nakagawa, president of Tri Petch Isuzu.
